The Ontario County Soil & Water Conservation District is dedicated to the conservation of natural resources in Ontario County. Ontario County is rich in natural resources. It contains or shares five of the Finger Lakes. Rich agricultural lands, extensive forests, abundant wildlife and water resources enhance the quality of life for all residents of the county. It is the duty and privilege of the Ontario County Soil and Water Conservation District to preserve and protect these resources while helping to maintain farming as a viable, profitable and environmentally sound enterprise.

We love to be out in the community, presenting on different topics, having tables at fairs and events, and meeting new people! If you are interested in learning more about having the Ontario County SWCD at your event, classroom, or workshop, call us at (585)396-1450 or email alaina.robarge@ontswcd.com
