About Us
Ontario County is rich in natural resources. It contains or shares five of the Finger Lakes. Rich agricultural lands, extensive forests, abundant wildlife and water resources enhance the quality of life for all residents of the county. It is the duty and privilege of the Ontario County Soil and Water Conservation District to preserve and protect these resources while helping to maintain farming as a viable, profitable and environmentally sound enterprise.
