ONSITE WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM INSPECTIONS

Onsite wastewater treatment (septic) systems are features of most rural residences in Ontario County. Ensuring proper functioning of these systems is vital to the continued high quality of ground water resources, public health and maintenance of property values.

The Ontario County SWCD Uniform Procedures Program (UPP) provides required inspection services for seven municipalities within Ontario County and is utilized by other municipalities as needed.

Our technician, Tad Gerace is registered by the NYS Onsite Training Network to conduct inspections of onsite wastewater treatment systems including for property deed transfers. Tad also provides education, information and consultation to homeowners and residents.
