SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL
Assistance for municipalities in assessing development designs for adequacy of stormwater management and soil erosion and sediment control is available through the Ontario County SWCD. District staff with extensive training in these issues, CPESCs ( Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control) will also conduct construction site inspections on behalf of the municipalities to assure compliance with New York State's stormwater control regulations.
Contractors, engineers, developers and other persons engaged in land alteration may receive assistance in soil erosion and sediment control and stormwater management issues.
