Onsite wastewater treatment (septic) systems are features of most rural residences in Ontario County. Ensuring proper functioning of these systems is vital to the continued high quality of ground water resources, to public health, and to maintenance of property values. |  |
| Ontario County's SWCD Uniform Procedures Program provides contracted inspection services for five municipalities within Ontario County and is utilized by other municipalities and institutions as needed. | ||
| Tad Gerace, SWCD Technician, Inspection-certified by the NYS Onsite Training Network, conducts soils investigations (deep hole and percolation tests), onsite wastewater treatment system inspections, inspection at the time of property deed transfer and provides information and consultation for homeowners. | ||
